Bob is a native of South Florida, but headed north for his undergraduate training at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. After receiving his Bachelors degree in Philosophy, with a concentration in the physical sciences, Bob returned home and attended the University of Florida where he achieved his law degree and was elected to the competitive Moot Court team. Since beginning the practice of law in Miami, Bob has tried and handled hundreds of complex cases ranging from products liability to patent infringement to professional malpractice and business torts.

Since deciding to represent people and companies injured by careless or wanton corporations, Bob has taken on many of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in the world. Most recently, Bob has represented over one thousand victims of defective Chinese Drywall in the southeastern region of the United States, a “silent hurricane” that resulted in thousands of families being unable to live in their own homes with little hope.

In participating in the centralized litigation in New Orleans, and participating in the first trial in that venue, Bob helped to achieve a settlement with the Chinese manufacturer of the product and its German parent corporation that resulted in hundreds of his clients having their homes fixed and restored to “as new” condition.

“Being asked to represent someone who has been grievously harmed, and tasked with that huge responsibility, is an honor”, said Bob, “the most important thing to me is that my clients know that they come first, and that I will fight the good fight for them”.

Bob is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in every court in the state of Florida, both state and federal. He is a past president of the Miami-Dade chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) a bipartisan group of esteemed judges and lawyers dedicated to keeping the doors of the courthouse open to all peoples and preserving the right to trial by jury. Bob has tried over 50 cases to verdict in his 20 plus year career.

Bob is an avid endurance athlete who enjoys running, biking and swimming for exercise. For real pleasure though, Bob enjoys spearfishing and free diving in the Bahamas with his family.
